Visiting San Diego based artist Iana Quesnell uses the basic elements of art—line, shape, texture, form, space, and value—to tell a story. Participants in this class will learn how to recognize these elements in real space and translate them to a two-dimensional surface using drawing technique and draftsmanship. In the same way letters are the building blocks of syntax, participants will learn the basic elements of drawing as a means of personal expression and communication. All skill levels welcome.
